Team leader, administrative support

Consilium Insurance and Financial Services Group is an independent insurance firm specializing in business insurance (SME) as well as a team of personal insurance brokers. The head office is located in the heart of Old Montreal, but the company also has several branches including St-Jérôme, Sherbrooke, Cowansville, Mont-Tremblant and Ahuntsic. Consisting of a large and prestigious clientele, the brokerage is currently looking for a Team Leader for the Administrative Support Department. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the team leader for the administrative support department must have valid certification from the Autorité des marchés financiers, also hold a minimum college degree, being certified as CIP or FCIP would also be an asset. He or she must have a minimum experience of 5 to 10 years in the personal and commercial insurance brokerage sector and be familiar with the management model by module. Having at least 5 years experience in management and have an ease in managing a team in person and remotely. The position is located on the North Shore of Montreal or in the area.

Responsabilities

  • Monitor calls on a weekly basis
  • Write performance reports
  • Document and list the results in order to present them monthly to the management
  • Perform individual coaching with members of the team (made up of 10 people)
  • Carry out follow-ups with clients and/or financing services and/or insurers who have complaints to make and occasionally take charge of complex files.
  • Evaluate each member of the team annually according to a standard format predefined by the company
  • Evaluate and quantify the call taking and activities of all team members.
  • Concentrate and centralize relevant information.
  • Organize and animate sporadically informative and objective meetings with the members of the team
  • Work on all other types of development projects in collaboration with management.
  • Develop a training plan that will be used to develop the learning of new members of the administrative team
  • Train, supervise and support the members of the administrative team
